Roadmapper AI
Terms of Service
1. Service overview
Roadmapper is a product-roadmap web application. It lets you organize work as themes, capabilities, tasks, and sprints; sync with GitHub pull requests; and collaborate with teammates in shared workspaces in realtime. By signing in you accept these terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you're signing in on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
3. Accounts
You sign in with a supported identity provider (such as Google, GitHub, or Microsoft). You are responsible for keeping access to your provider account secure. We do not store passwords.
4. Workspaces and roles
- Anyone signed in can create a workspace. The creator is the owner.
- Owners can rename or delete the workspace and add or remove members. Deletion is permanent and removes all themes, capabilities, tasks, sprints, and edit history attached to that workspace.
- Members can read and edit roadmap data. Member-level admins can manage the invite list. Non-admin members cannot.
- You're responsible for the data you put into workspaces you own, and for the access you grant to others.
5. GitHub integration
If you connect a GitHub repository — either via a personal access token or by installing the Roadmapper GitHub App — Roadmapper reads pull-request metadata (titles, authors, branch names, labels, statuses, linked commits) to auto-link PRs to tasks. We do not read source code, secrets, or contents of files. You can disconnect at any time from Settings → GitHub Sync.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that's illegal, infringing, harassing, or that you don't have the right to share.
- Attempt to access workspaces you weren't invited to, scrape other users' data, or interfere with the service.
- Use the service to build a directly competing roadmap product.
- Reverse-engineer the service or attempt to extract data through programmatic interfaces in ways the documented interfaces do not permit.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the roadmap data you create. You grant Roadmapper a non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that data solely to operate the service for you and the teammates you've invited.
8. Service availability
Roadmapper is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uptime, durability of any specific record, or that any feature will be preserved. We may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time. Service depends on third-party infrastructure and is provided on a best-effort basis.
9. Termination
You can stop using Roadmapper at any time and delete your workspaces from Settings → Workspaces. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or otherwise abuse the service.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roadmapper is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — including in cases where we've been advised of the possibility. Our total cumulative liability is capped at US $100 or the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, whichever is greater.
11. Indemnity
You'll defend and indemnify Roadmapper against claims arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. We'll bump the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, surface a notice in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes are resolved in the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York.
